women's world cup animations
placement project

In June I took part in the Grads4Nottm scheme and completed a two week work placement at local business Art of Football. In a team of four, I created these short animations for their social media platforms of the best goals in this year's women's world cup.

These are just a few of my favourite animations from the placement.

We used a traditional cel process, drawing and colouring each frame on paper before scanning and sequencing them digitally. Over the two weeks, we produced over 420 paper cels. My main responsibility was cleaning up and colouring cels, though I was the outline artist on some animations, like the Oshoala and Janogy scenes.
