NHS Children's Anorectal Service

The NHS Barts Children's Anorectal Physiology Service contacted the Alive with Ideas team to produce an explainer animation for young children who may need a rather invasive (and potentially scary!) procedure due to struggling with going to the toilet.

I joined the project at the storyboard stage to help maintain a consistent visual style, vary the framing between scenes, and ensure that the scenes storyboarded would work in motion. I was responsible for creating the character rigs and was the lead animator, animating the main character Captain Poo and supporting junior animators to create the smaller scenes.

Art Direction and Illustration by Kat Hassell. Additional animation support provided by Andy Davies.
